THE TRANSFORMATIVE TRAVEL GUIDE TO BYRON BAY!

Traveller, mumma and Tigerlily muse, Julz of The Vista shares her guide to Byron Bay for anyone searching for a little more...

For anyone planning a trip to Byron this summer, I urge you venture a little further and explore off the beaten track into the heart of the rainbow region. There are so many fantastic new spaces and places to visit beyond the bay. Some by the beach and others tucked away in the leafy hinterland regions, yet all with a focus on the new age, wellness and a feeling of transformative travel.
VISIT:

Crystal Castle. Wander the tropical gardens and bamboo forest, stay for lunch and have your aura read.

DO:

Sunrise swim at one of Byron's stunning beaches is always a perfect way to start your day.

EXPERIENCE:

A horse ride with Zephyr Horses. Chose from sunrise or sunset rides, no experience necessary. Immersed in nature on horseback is a fantastic way to see the area from a unique perspective.

The perfect picnic is set at sunrise by Wild Goat Catering. Perfect for lovers, sisters and mammas or a treat just for you. Watching the sunrise of Byron's most easterly point with a three-course mouthwatering breakfast, (champagne optional 😉)  is one you'll remember forever! Book in with the lovely Katie prior to your trip.

EAT:

Whilst you are out and about in the hinterland try Doma Cafe in Federal, Woods Cafe in Bangalow and Clunes General Store, Clunes.

RELAX:

Comma is a brand new massage and relaxation destination in Byron's cool arts and industrial estate. Using all Australian native products and stunning interiors, owner Susie McIntosh has created a beautiful space to escape and reconnect, if only for a moment.

STAY:

Byron Beach Abodes have a great collection of properties large and small. For spaces just outside of the bay look to Air B n B.

SHOP:

Once you have discovered central Byron stores like Tigerlily, An alternative hub to shop just outside of Byron's town centre is the Byron Bay Arts and Industrial Estate where you'll find stores like Pop and Scott, Yoli and Otis, and Byron's new development Habitat. Newyrbar and Bangalow also have a list of great stores including Worn and our favourite,  Little San

Enjoy this beautiful place consciously and mindfully X
